I was hoping to have produced a Tutorial for the Smart compositor Designer before now but unfortunately I have discovered a number of "bugs" which have also been discovered by a totally different user (Klowther) working on a totally different project. I have reported this to Ulead but think it may take a while to get these items sorted out.
In the meantime should you wish to share your creation please view the 2nd item down in the following post

Where you will see I have provided what was to be the basis of my smart composition in the form of a DVP file. You will also find a link to the one Klowther was working on.

Of course you can, but the idea of SC is to give you an editable title. Imagine you are a wedding videographer, doing a couple of weddings/week. You could, for example, take a still of bride's bouquet and add that to a standard SC template, so that each title is individualised and change the standard title from "Our Wedding" to "Bill and Jane's Wedding", while keeping the rest as standard. This would be much less work than re-composing it, twice per week, from scratch.

I realise you are from Poland and so your English isn't that good.
I think you are asking why you are unable to convert virtual clips into a smart composition.
I have made two attempts at writing a Tutorial for the Smart Compositor Designer and spent at least two weeks on each attempt.
Due to my intensive research I have discoveered a number of "bugs" in the designer. I have verified these 'bugs' by contacting a fellow user well known to this forum and some 4 and half thousand miles away and got him to double check my steps.
I also stumbled across another well known user of this forum and found that he too was working on a similar project and came across many of the same 'bugs' which I had discovered.
These matters have been passed onto Ulead but I would not expect a response for a few weeks as it appears obvious that some code changes are required.
In the meantime my suggestion is to create DVP project files and use those. You can also share your DVP project files.
If you're interested in the two projects I had hoped to use for the tutorial they are here:
1. Circular PIP effect

2. Moving Circles.

This also includes a link to the composition that was being created by
Klowther - one of the other users mentioned above.
