Quick Zoom?

Post by Bobed2121 »

When I use Illustrator I can double click on the zoom tool and the screen fills with my image. Is there a quick way to max the screen with the zoom in PI11? I usually go the the zoom drop down scroll to the bottom and select Fit to window.

Yep! Sure is!

On the Keypad use the key (-) to Zoom in or the (+) key to quickly zoom out.

OR, on the keyboard, hold down the key Z and left click the mouse to zoom in, and right click the mouse to zoom out. Maybe it is the otherway around?

You can go to Full Screen by holding down the keys Ctrl plus U, and press ESC to return to normal screen view.

yeah I use those. I guess I'm just lazy and like to double click on something once to get where I want to be.
Thanks

Now that is lazy!

Okay here you go.

On the Command Menu/My Workspace/Customize/Commands/View/ in the Command pane, drag Full Screen to your Command Menu somewhere and drop it. You now have a named button to click on to go to Full Screen anytime you want.

Remember to press ESC to return to normal screen.

Cool. Actually I used the fit in window button instead. Sort of like a double-click zoom in photoshop except I have to hit the maximize button on the floating window. Oh well as close as it gets.

In case your reading this Ulead for PI12 a very nice feature the double click on the zoom tool for 100% frame.
