Video 7 SE DVD error message Clip too long
I am trying to edit an MPEG 2 file that is 1.9gb in size and consists of 87,811 frames when dragging the selected clips to the Timeline I get the following message: 'The duration of the inserted effect clip is too long. I will be trimmed to fit'. I wouldn't have thought that the file in question was particularly large. Is there a 'work around'?

This is bad wording on Video Studio’s part.
In preferences if you have ‘use default transition effects’ selected,
When you insert a clip that is shorter in duration than the transition effect you receive the warning.
Video Studio then reduces the transition effect time to match.
