pasting text into the title track after copying

Post by brucefl »

Is there a way to insert text into the title track?
I have some information that I have copied and tried
to paste into the title track, and have not had any luck.
Even if the text box is active. Is there a way to do this?
thanks

I've done it, but I don't recall if I used Ctrl-V or Shift-Insert (two common Windows shortcuts) for this.

As far as i can remember the only place you can paste onto is in the library on the right side of the preveiw screen then drag to the title track

Hope this helps

NO - you cannot paste text into the title track - you must paste (Using Ctrl+V) into the preview window - the text will then appear in the title track at the position of the cursor.

Just click on the 'Title' tab at the top of the screen - then double click in the preview window as instructed - the use Ctrl+V to paste any text .

To clarify, no, you cannot paste text directly into the tiack, you need to create a title first, and while editing it, you can indeed paste text into it.
