Error on insert Title Clip

As I was unable to insert Title Clips (intermittant general error - Video Editor closes).
Therefore Uninstalled MSP8, removed all MSP8 folders, re-installed full version (as received by Tech Support due to earlier problems with installation of hot fix) + hot fix.

Problem stays. Error is not intermittant any more. Video Editor hangs always now as soon as I click the "Insert Title Clip" button or select it from menu.

Tried to insert in existing project.
Tried to insert in empty project.
Tried to insert in new project with one of the sample clips inserted.
No change.

Project settings: DV PAL.
