Can't import separate audio stream created by ADS IDVD 2.0

I have a video that I encoded using the ADS IDVD 2.0. It created 2 files, an MPV file for the video (which DVDWS2 is OK with) and an MPA file for the audio. The problem is that when I try to import the audio file, DVDWS2 says "Unable to Open File File format mismatch". This has happened on all 3 captures I've made. When I highlight the MPA file in the list, the Info button stays disabled so obviously DVDWS2 just doesn't like the file.

The file size is 1.39GB. Could that be part of the problem? Note that the MPA file plays fine in Windows Media Player.
