Taking the plunge: ME to XP

Post by erock1 »

After 7 years I'm getting a new PC. Yep, even though my old PC is still chugging along, it's time. Besides upgraded processor and memory, etc., I'm going from ME to XP Home as the OS. Anyone care to share what tweeks might be in order for XP. It will already have SP2.

TIA,
Erock

New PC's Specs:
Pentium® D Processor 820 with Dual Core Technology (2.80GHz, 800FSB)

256MB PCI Express™ x16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) ATI Radeon X600 SE HyperMemory

Plus the link in that post which will lead to a large debate about how various users of this forum have set up their XP machines
