Rendering
I downloaded a video from the internet, which was a Windows Media Audio/Video file. I want to burn it to DVD. There seems to be no way around rendering it to an MPEG file, which means I have to stop my work and return to the computer in many hours and continue. Is this correct? Is there anyway around this?

Hi Dave
Rendering a video project to a compatible dvd file (Mpeg 2) takes a long time.
It is dependant on your pc’s resources and the amount of change / rendering from one source to another.
The time to render on my machine from Avi to Mpeg 2 is about 2.25 times the run time. That is a 60 minute video will take 135 minutes. And yes your pc should be left alone during render.
Stopping all other processes running in the background should help with the time taken, e-mails / anti virus etc
Try a short clip a few minutes long to test the time taken.
