Hello everyone.

PhotoImpact came bundled with my new pc.I am reasonably impressed with it as a whole, but,I cannot stand the icons..!!
Can someone please tell me how to get my old Photoshop icons back again.
When I reinstalled my old hard drive PhotoImpact has rewitten over all my existing Photoshop ones.
I feel a migraine coming on

Hi Abigail, welcome to the forums..:)

No need for a migraine, they're no fun..

To change the icons that Windows displays associated with image formats, you can tell PhotoImpact not to associate file types by going to Preferences then in the dialogue box that opens, go down to Associate and deselect all the image file types (except UFO, those are specific Ulead For Object files), click OK. Then window should restore the icons to a default or if Photoshop was used it should use those. If not you will have to open Photoshop and tell it to associate the file types.

If that doesn't work, post back as there is a method in Windows to change the file types...
