Help!
I am using Videostudio 9, running windows XP home and I am trying to burn a DVD with Videostudio and everytime I try to burn the DVD almost immedietly I get a message saying "Convert Step Got Some Problems! (4101)" and the dvd won't burn. I have tried numerous DVD-RW with no success. I have also tried using both videostudio files (VSP's) and rendered videos but neither seem to work. I have also tried this in DVD Moviefactory 4 with the same problem.

Please Help!

Another issue...

Post by Gatobob »

Thanks for the links (once again) Steve

Now that I have fixed that I am getting another issue which is preventing me from burning a DVD. I will try to burn the DVD and I will get a message saying "Failed to reuse converted cache file! (4570)" and then a second message noting an error ID which is "Unspecified error. Report ID: 0x8003411da(4570)"

Is there any specific way to fix this or has there already been a large number of these problems and I'm going to be redirected and have a partial fix?

If you could give me any reason or help me to understand as to why this is happening that would be VERY greatly appreciated!

Couple of possible reasons for this and the most usual is that you have tried to author a DVD from the project file rather than creating a DVD compliant MPEG first.

The second common cause for this error is insufficient memory or disk space. How much free space do you have on the hard drive(s)
what is the size of your pagefile (also known as a swapfile)

Thank you
