Upgrade VS8 to VS9 question

Can I use my VS8 files for some current editing with VS9, or is it best to finish the projects in VS8 first?

I did not have the bad luck that Mikeybude27 suffered. I would recommend upgrading to VS9. I started with VS6 thru VS7, VS8 and now at VS9. I enjoy the features of each of the upgrades. I was not without some conflicts in my computer with VS with some of the software. But, as a whole, I am happy with it, as some of the issues were with my settings and with my computer. I recommend buying the CD, instead of down loading the upgrade. My computer has crashed due to other problems ( my own fault) so..it is much easier to have the VS9 CD on hand. If you have the patience, you may want to wait until VS10 comes out..I understand it has some new features that I am looking forward to playing with....

You might want to wait for VS10 Plus, it's due shortly.
