when loading clips into video express 8 dvd sound is on clips, when I run as a project there is no sound on the project. message appears "unable to access the audio codec driver"
I am using a digital camcorder camera settings are for audio, MPEG4 CODEC. can somebody please point me in the right direction to correct this problem.

As far as I can remember, VS8 does not support MPEG4, that's why you are getting that error.
What are your capture properties, and the properties of the video clip(s)? For the video clip properties, witht the clip in the timeline or library right click and select properties. Please post those here.

You can try using SUPER which is Free to convert your video/audio files to a format suported by VS8.
Also VS 8 may slide into the Phased out list, since VS10 Plus will be released soon.
