Video Studio will not start after installation
Just installed VS6 that came with ADS Instant DVD, Program crashes on startup with memory error (cannot write memory at address 000000). I can't get to tech support as no SN came with this purchase, it is embedded in the program, but won't display as the program wont start. I would upgrade if I thought it would work, but there is no support! How do you get tech support for installation problems?

Hi Progc, welcome to the forums..
First, Ulead does not support VS6, especially the freebie that comes bundled with hardware. VS6 is a Phased Out program.
What you can do, and what I woud do, is go to Ulead's site and download the free 30 day trial of Video Studio 9. That is the most current version, and will give you a great idea of what you can do.

In order to find the Phased Out programs list you have to navigate to it:
1. Click on Tech Support, Video Studio
2. Select Earlier Version
3. Then you will get the page that lists all of them found here:

After checking out the trial version of VS9 it may be worthwhile hanging on a bit. It has been announced that VS10 will soon be released though we do not yet have a date.

Progc,
Was going to post asking about your system, but then took a look at your System Specs. I think I found the answer. You are running Windows Server 2003. According to Ulead, Windows Server is not specified as a supported OS.

One suggestion would be to either use one of your exisiting Hard Drives or purchase a third (They are fairly cheap nowadays) and create a Multi-Boot System with XP on the new Hard Drive.
