Inserting an image in front of 30+ video titles - VS9

Post by thad »

Is there an easy way to add an image to a project that already contains a bunch of video titles? Adding images (or more video) always gets added to the end of the project and then must be dragged all the way to the front. This would be nice...select a video title, right click-add image, and the image gets inserted right there. Can this be done?

Hi Thad,

Not by using the Storyboard mode, the inserted image will be added to the end. However, there is one way to do this, provided you don't have anything in the overlay track at the very beginning.

Change to Timeline mode. Click on the overlay track to select it. Make sure your cursor/playhead, is at the start (Frame1).Right click and choose insert image. The image will be added to the timeline at the beginning. Now just drag the image clip up to the main track. Viola, the video clips slide to the right...
