I like using the "Extract Object" tool in PI 11 but I am having some issues. Where can I find more detailed documentation on using extract object than is located in the manual and in the help?
I use a WACOM Intuos 3 Tablet, while using the WACOM pen with the tablet to perform the extract object, the eraser on the pen does not erase, it just draws. It appears that the extract object window is using a different method to toggle between brush mode and erase mode than the document window uses. Also the brush size does not change with a change in pressure on the pen tip like it does when using the paint tools.
I noticed by accident that while zoomed in on an image in the extract object tool I can use the right mouse button to move the image within the window, this saves me a lot of time, I searched but could not find that feature documented anywhere.
Thanks,
Kevin

Thank you Steve, those are some very nice tutorials. The tutorial for Extracting a Subject from a Photo was written for PI 10, Ulead has improved the extract object in PI 11 but they don't appear to have documented it very well.
For the extract object utility, I find it so much easier to use when I zoom in on the image (which can help a lot to draw a more accurate boundary or while refining the mask in the refine object panel) and use the right mouse button to reposition the image when I get to the edge of the window. Also I have discovered that holding down the Ctrl key will toggle the brush to an eraser. These should be documented in the manual and in the help.
Although they improved the extract object utility, I think they need to work on it some more so that it will work properly with a graphics tablet.
I recently upgraded from PI 10 to PI 11 and have been very frustrated because they moved functions around and I can't find any documentation that indicates where things are. I can find a feature or tool in the manual or in the help and find out what it does or how to use it but not where to find it in the user interface.
