I just installed uLead MovieFactory 3.5 Suite Deluxe.
The uLead AutoDetector starts up when I log into WinXP but it starts up 'disabled'.
I can 'right click' on it and 'enable' it.
Shouldn't it start up 'enabled'?
If so, how do I fix it so that it starts up 'enabled'?

No, that post was of no help at all.
It does NOT address my question.
My situation is:
uLead Autodetector starts automatically when I login to WindowsXP.
It shows up in the system tray.
The problem is that it starts up in the "DISABLED" mode and has to be "ENABLED" manually from the properties menu you get when the system tray icon is right clicked on.
My question is:
How do I change the behavior of the Autodector program so it starts up in the "ENABLED" mode?

When Ulead AutoDetector starts up, is there a red mark on its icon? If so, then it's disabled; otherwise it's enabled.
The Disable Ulead AutoDetector item in the menu is not a status but a command. It means Ulead AutoDetector is already in enable mode and you can use the command to disable it.
Hope this helps.

RIGHT-CLICK on the icon that is on the task-bar that your complaining about and make your choices.
You select "Enable" if it's disable and disable if it's enabled.
To remove it from memory choose "Options" -> "Close".
To stop it from loading on startup:
Right-Click and choose "Options" then
In the next screen on the BOTTOM LEFT SIDE "UnCheck" the box that says
"Run AutoDetector when Windows Starts up".
That was in the post that Steve linked you to. I think you missed all the options that appear when you right-click on the icon.
