Welcome to our forum.
I take it that you have used the multi trim function to cut out the unwanted bits. a common mistake is the very last clip during the trim operation. You have to select the end of the clip to make sure the last one gets included.
Before clicking the OK button to exit the multi trim, make sure the last clip is in the timeline at the bottom of the screen.

Hi,
You can try a more reliable method to create your dvd.
After you have joined or multi-trimmed the video and BEFORE proceeding to creating a menu.
SAVE your Project on the harddisk.
From the main timeline screen (The beginning screen for editing).
Highlight the video(s) on the timeline.
Click on the "Export Selected Clips"
Select "Fast Export DVD Compliant Video"
Select a location on your harddisk to create the mpeg2 file.
After that is complete. Exit the program.
Start a new session and click on the 2nd icon from the top left side (Add Video Files).
Select the video you Exported in the previous step and import it into MF5.
Then SAVE the Project as a new name (keep the old project on the harddisk).
From that point create your chapters, create your menus and then try burning the dvd with the new video file.
DO NOT edit the file, cut/multi-trim or add audo tracks. That should all be done before the first export.
This way when you are in the dvd creation stage the video material is already be DVD compliant and the process should be more reliable.
Hope this helps,
MD
