Importing background music onto the menu

Hello,

Newbie here.

I am trying to import a audio track which I ripped from a CD in MP3 format to use as an audio on my menu screen.

However when I try to do this I get an error message to state that there is an error and it cannot be done.

Does anyone have any information to help me.

I've done this fine using MP3's of various flavours (bitrates CBR/VBR) and not had any issues. Although if you have the CD I would recommend ripping the track as a wave (*.WAV) file instead. You will end up with better quality sound. There are many free programs able to do this for you. I would recommend Exact Audio Copy which is more then able to rip to wave files (or MP3's using LAME). http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/
