HD codecs using the new HVX200

Withe the HD plugin, will VideoStudio 9 handle the codecs of the new HVX200?

I have no idea if the codecs are compatible with VS9, but the 100Mbps video bitrate is certain to cause fits in most computers...

This pro-quality camera is way out of my league. Here is an interesting discussion on the technology that Panasonic used in this camera. http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=47570

Since V9 is compatible with Sony's HD technology, I'm sure it will work.

The Panasonic HVX200 uses DVCPro for high def, the Sony camcorders use HDV, the two are totally different.

As jjuerss wrote, they use completely different codecs, and V9 is not compatible with any of the high-def codecs supported by the HVX-200.

The only way to use the HVX-200 with any of the existing Ulead products is to record DV to tape. The HD codecs and the MXF format used by the P2 cards is not supported.
