Annoying audio to video offset in preview window

Whenever I try to watch an edited DV project in the preview window of MS6, I notice that after a few seconds the image will begin to drag behind the sound. Setting the Audio-Video Interleave option does not help, alas, not does installing a different coded (tried with Microsoft, MainConcept and Panasonic codecs: They all display the same offset behaviour). The problem does not occur when I use the Fast Preview, but then I cannot observe the FX effects, overlaid titles etc. This problem is very inconvenient when I want to cut scenes according to the music, so what can I do? I do not think the graphics card is the problem since I observe it on two very different computers; however, once it suddenly vanished after I had additionally installed the Panasonic DV2 codec but I did not manage to reproduce the change.

What can I do? Is the solution hidden somewhere in the settings of MS6?
