Inserting a clip - need to move existing titles?

Post by Trikie »

Still on my trial VS9 project. after editing to create a series of clips, some titled, and transitions, I then added another clip at the start of the timeline.

The titles have not moved and so now relate to the wrong clips. I presume there is a way to avoid this happening?

Look up "Ripple Editing" in the VS9 Help file.

Trikie, there are some small icons of rectangles on the left upper side
where the time line video clips are dropped into. Click on them and you will see the options of ripple editing. Ripple editing allows your titles to stay with
the clip, even though you add another video clip ahead of them. This one of the nice features of VS9
