I have the trial version of Picture Show 4.
Could anyone tell me if the full version has a crop function,
there is a greyed out symbol that looks like one.
Thanks

Which greyed out symbol are you referring to? PS4 has a few integrated image correction/editing tools however when you purchase the paid version, Ulead also gives you a more comprehensive image editing/management application called PhotoExplorer 8.5. I haven't actually installed it because I already have some similar programs but if you'd like to read up on the features...

Crop function
Hi Mike,
The greyed out symbol is between the decorate and restore features. It looks like a couple of film negatives and a pair of scissors.
I'm going to be scanning a lot of photos and need a crop feature within a DVD slideshow program to speed up the workflow. I have Nero 6 which has the crop but it doesn't have the pan function. I'm looking for a product that has both.

Hey Dave,
The icon you mentioned is the "multi-trim" video editor, not cropping.
After reading your post I installed PE8.5 for a quick test run. Actually there is some integration between PS4 and PE8.5. In PE8.5, open the folder that contains your content (i.e.; "My Pictures") and perform any editing that you deem necessary. Next, open the slideshow UI in PE8.5 and drag your images to the timeline. Here you can rearrange the images, add music, narration, text annotations, transitions and preview the slideshow. When ready, select "Export To Ulead CD & DVD Picture Show" and the entire project is opened as a complete slideshow in PS4. Now, working in PS4, you can create your menu, add additional slideshows and burn your project(s) to CD/DVD or output as VOB, ISO, or video file. The only drawback is, once you have transferred a slideshow from PE8.5 to PS4 you cannot further edit the show.
If you want, email me and I'll pass along a few more options that might be of interest.
