Hi there,
If I create a disc image file, can I burn the same project on numerous DVD's at a later date. Also, can I then delete all other files relating to the project and just keep the disc image file (.iso file) to save space on my hard drive. Hope this question makes sense - any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Tina
That is the whole idea of DiskImage files. They are just that, a true image of the disk. You can burn them again and again using the MF4 option "Copy or fit Disk" > "Burn Image to Disk"
You can also create the DVD folders on your HDD and use the option "Burn DVD Folder to Disk" from the same menu in MF4

Good question. You can always get the original video files back from the dvd. I'm talking about the mpeg2 files that you are viewing (the video) on the dvd player. So, if you ever want to redo the video simply put the dvd into the computers dvd reader, open up MF and select Import Dvd-r/Dvd-vr disk.
Then naviagate to the dvd drive with the video in it and select the VIDEO-TS folder. Then hit OK. After MF looks at the disk you can import individual chapters or the complete video. To import the complete video make sure to check off the TOP selection, then click on import.
The video / mpeg2 file will be extracted from the dvd to your harddisk.
(No menus, just the original videos).
