V7 SE - simple fade fx too slow & upgrades.

Post by Garlic Bred »

Is it possible to speed up the fade effect in V7SE?
Thats when you try to do a simple smooth fade between two clips in the timeline. I cant see any options to do this. It seems to take about 5 seconds.

I probably need to upgrade ... was thinking of upgrading. I noticed someone else had luck upgrading an "SE" version. Has anyone not been able to do this.

Also would the version 10 price be much more than $50? I thought it might be more of a bargain than the imminent new v10.

Thanks

Garlic Bred, click on the transition between the clips in the timeline, and then adjust the duration that is shown in the upper left where the transition parameters are.

If however you meant that rendering is too slow (i.e. it takes 5 seconds to transition between clips during Preview), then rest assured that when you use Share -> Create Video File to render the project, the transition will happen in realtime when you open the finished file.
