Help .. My VS9 disappears
Hi I'm a newbie, i'm using VS9.00.100, randomly my VS exits without any warning, very frustrating ... please advise
I suspect a corrupt video-file.
I've seen this happen if you feed it a "bad" file. (Sometimes a "bad" file will play back OK.)
What are you doing when this happens? What type of files are you working with?
My next guess is that you are working with a highly-compressed format, such as DivX, MPEG, or WMV. These file-types are either more prone to corruption, or they are more likely to crash a Ulead program (than AVI/DV) when they are corrupted... I don't know which... But, these file-types seem to cause lots of problems. (I do know that a good MPEG file can get corrupted just by editing it.)
Take a look at the following two links. Maybe something there will help-
