insert transparent logos

Hi, i want to insert a logo in the corner of my video, but the program gives an error when I try to insert a EPS or AI. When I inserted a transparent GIF it renders the transparancy into white so it is still not transparent? What am i doing wrong? (further more, i hate gif, they are raster and suck, I prefer an eps )

Try using a PNG

You need an .tga or .png or .tif but they all must have a transparent alpha channel - not just transparency as shown in some image manipulation packages. A good way to create suitable transparent .tga images is in Ulead Cool 3D.
