Please Help!!!!

Hi Guys, sorry for this newbie question,
Can someone please tell me why when i make a dvd in Moviefactory it only takes minutes to render and make an image but in Videostudio it takes hours.
Would be gratefull for a fast answer.

Did you compare the project settings? Was your test done with exactly the same footage?

Hallo heinz,

yes it was the same footage and iam sure the settings were also the same.
iam been trying to find an answer for at least a week now.

Can't be. If everything was equal, you shouldn't see these differences. I'm sure that the clips were re-rendered in the long lasting project.

BTW, what were your settings in both cases?

If the source videos are identical, then in VS go directly to the Authoring application, and import the videos you are using in MF. Hit that little gear icon and make sure you have "Do not convert compliant mpeg files" checked.

Motion menus and any enhancements will increase times...

Heinz i will send you the settings later tonight,and George when i put a motion menu at the start and at the end how much longer should i expect it to take?
