I have been converting videos with UVS9 from NTSC to PAL/SECAm with success. All of a sudden I have a conversion that does not work. The video ends about 6 minutes early. Att three times at the same point in the video.. 6 minutes too soon. I have started over by recapturing the VHS source several times. I do very little editing with VS9 before going to SHARE -> CREATE DISK. I make sure that the properties are the same for this step as they have been in the capture and editing editing steps.
The video is OK when viewed just before the last step. In the last step I select CREATE A DISK IMAGE File and deselect BURN TO DISK. then I BURN.
Has to be happening in the rendering/conversion process....
Or so it seem to me.
Any suggestions will be appreciated

The link supplied by Steve was not exactly on point but contained enough information to develop a fix. The fix appears to be the making a mpg via the Create a Video File feature. Then take the mpg file thus created into the Create Disk feature.
I had been lucky enough to have no problems until recently by skipping this step. I just downloaded several usoft security patches and, while I cannot prove it, I think one of those messed up the process.
The missing six seconds was on one other video that I ran through the ->PAL conversion process before inserting the Create a Video File step that gave me back the six minutes.
Thanks again Steve.

As a matter of interest, why are you converting from NTSC to PAL?
I presume you are aware that most PAL DVD players can happily play NTSC DVD's - so if you're not doing this commercially, you might save yourself some time and trouble. Check several previous posts on the topic.
