No sound at all

Ulead Moviefactory 4. Trying to capture analog video/audio through a Dazzle usb product using rca jacks from the vcr to the dazzle, then the dazzle to the cpu via usb. The video is fine but there is no audio whatsover. I know the connections are good because I've captured video and audio with another software package.

Any ideas?

Check the windows Volume control.
goto Options | adjust volume control for recording
(Default is for playback) then below the various sliders is a tick box.
You probably have the wrong one ticked. At a guess I think you would need line input to be the one selected.
