I selected the option Maaa, to protect the recording of my DVD.
But the protection was not made, therefore I managed to do one copies of DVD. I copied DVD with Nero.
Could anybody help myself?
Thanks
Paul
Macrovision Copy Protection - The protection didn't work
Protection
The Macrovision and CSS Encryption will be applied when you have your DVD Pressed by a licensed replicator. You can turn it on in your DVD, but you have to send it out to be stamped -- you won't be able to burn it to DVD ±R/RW yourself...

Macrovision is in the analog signal.
Yeah, Macrovision affects the analog video. (That's the signal in the yellow video cable.) Like Bernard said, it prevents you from making a VHS copy, or from using an analog connection to copy to a DVD-R.
CSS is digital encryption, and it prevents digital copying (i.e.NERO).
In both cases, you (and/or the duplication company) must have a license and pay a royality to use them.
Neither of these are very effective. My video capture card simply ignores Macrovision. And, there are Macrovision remover boxes available. They appear to be legal (for ligitimate purposes in the US). Of course there are CSS remover programs too, but these may be illegal (in the US).

There's many types of MV, and yes it can be put on DVD. Makes no difference as it's easily broken no matter what form it's in. There's a saying "if it can be seen it can be copied" There's not a commecial DVD on the market that you won't be able to find out how to copy with just little research on Google.
