Post by brucefl »

I have liked some of the templates in VS9 movie wizard. Does ulead have any others downloadable, or purchasable? I know they have the olympic one.
thanks Bruce

they need more

Thanks for the reply, not sure if others use them or make there own. It can be time consuming building them I think.
Be a nice thought to have Ulead do some more.

If you have any of the other ulead programs
DVD Movie Factory, DVD Picture Show, DVD Workshop
Then each has a number of DVD Menu Templates - many are the same Menu Template but appearing in each product. You can copy those Menu Templates across from one product to another.

Again, look at my Tutorial on Creating a Menu From Scratch. You can use the information in the tutorial to work out how to copy existing templates between products.

He's not talking about the DVD-templates but about those for the movie wizard.

Me myself would love to have more Movie template but a bit more sophisticated. More like the ideas in MSP8 wtih the smart compositor.

Besides, I find it strange that some nice templates from VS8 are no longer available in VS9.

Oh yes now I know what you mean. I only used that once just to see what it was. Sort of "Straight to Disk" from what I recall.

I'm a glutton for punishment and tend to do it the hard way snipping it all up and pasting it back together again!

I must make a note to look at the movie wizard in a bit more detail when I get some spare time. I'm a bit busy at the moment working on one of those Smart Compositor things you mentioned for Media Studio 8. I have though noticed a few posts mentioning the VideoStudio Movie Wizard.

templates, variety

Post by brucefl »

VS9 has worked pretty good for me. Could get one of the other ones, but for me hasn't been necessary. There are about 10 I think (didn't count) between still and movie templates. Just not a lot of variety. Really don't have the time to make my own from scratch.
