Trying to burn a dvd w/ movie factory se
Locks up and kicks me out of program 66% of the way thru of "converting video title".
Downloaded trial version of MF 4.0 --- and it does the same thing- but give me error: 0X800411da (4570)
I have seperated this slideshow w/ video into 3 and 5 pieces and the "sections" burn fine... but when they are all together I get the error.
Any suggestions? The file can't be too large- can it? I burned a dvd 2 weeks ago that was 2 1/2 hours long.... this one is only 1 1/2 hours long.
Any suggestions?

Hi Annieblacklab, welcome to the forums..
With out more information it is difficult to tell. Help us help you by:
1. Go to your profile and complete the system information. That way we can just click the System button to check to see if that could be causing problems, and if you have trouble in the future you wouldn't have to keep typing that in. It's a nice feature of this forum..
2. We need to know...
a. How you captured your video files, using a firewire, usb, third party capture device?
b. To what format did you capture? DV-AVI (most recommended), MPEG, or some other like WMV, Xvid, DivX..
c. Your project settings..Go to File menu>Project Properties what are they?
d. Your workflow..Did you Capture, Edit, Create a video file, then try to burn a disk or DVD folders? Capture, Edit, try to burn? Capture try to burn?
e. Did you maintain the same file properties throughout your project?
f. File properties when you tried to burn the disk...
g. Do you have any applications running in the background? It is best to shutdown all apps that are not needed, such as antivirus, spyware, internet connections..etc.
3. The Recommended Procedures for capturing, editing, creating video files, and finally burning, will help prevent problems..
The above will help us figure out why you are having problems..

It sounds like something is wrong with your video file. Apparently, something is going wrong when you put them "all together".I have seperated this slideshow w/ video into 3 and 5 pieces and the "sections" burn fine... but when they are all together I get the error.
So, like videoman says, tell us about your file formats and something about how you joined them. I assume that you have combined them into one title (one program)?
I assume you're right... This is probably NOT your particular problem... But unlike CDs, DVDs are not limited by time, they are limited by bytes... If you don't use the "correct" amount of compression (i.e. too high of a bitrate and/or uncompressed audio), you could easily make a 1.5 hour MPEG-2 file that will not fit onto a DVD.The file can't be too large- can it? I burned a dvd 2 weeks ago that was 2 1/2 hours long.... this one is only 1 1/2 hours long.
