adding audio tracks to cd

this seems simple. i want to add say 10 pop tracks to a cd photo presentation of about 30 minutes. However when i add a second track the first track that i added seems to disappear. i end up with one track repeating itself through the presentation. what am i doing wrong?

complete beginner.
