MSP8.0 HD DVD support

Ive heard MSP 8.0 will eventually support HD DVD . Has this been confirmed?
I'm just worried that if it does we'll be lumbered with the betamax equivalent once the greedy format battle is over. Would it be that difficult just to support blue-ray also ??

MSP8 already supports HD video, used with Movie Factory 5 a HD DVD/Blue Ray disk can be produced.

Don't have a HD/Blue Ray writer to test it on but the options are available.

Download the trial version of Movie Factory 5 to see your options.

I imagine there will be a lot of patches once the HD/Blue Ray writers become available.
