Title Template Problem

Hi all,

I dis a search of the forums but unless I'm missing something, I don't see anyone else with the same problem I just encountered. Can someone help?

I decided to created my own template for the title, by customizing an existing template. Once I customized, I saved the new templates, by clicking on save new template. I let the defaulted name it gave it stay (it saved it under My Favorites). I previewed the title and all was well.

The problem is that after a successful burn I played my dvd and the title is the existing template (before customization) and not the one I created.

At first I thought I must have screwed up somehow, so I burnt another DVD making sure that the title was the one I created. But I got the same result.

What am I doing wrong?

Um - it could be me - but I don't recognise the option to create a Title template ?? - how did you do it ??

If you have made a title that you want to use repeatably in several videos then you just drag it up from the timeline into the title library and UVS will save a copy of it for you to drag and drop down into the timeline whenever you need it

I meant the Menu Templates... sorry.

I created a Menu Template and everything looks good. I burn the DVD and the menu template that burns is not the one I selected.

OK - so having created a new menu template did you then actually select it so it showed in the preview window of the "Create Disc" window, did it play properly when you previewed it on the "DVD Player" window after you add menus and before you actually burn the disc.

Yest to all your questions... Now I just did another little experiment and it seems to burn with my menu template ONLY if I don't break my video into chapters (I did that before choosing converting scenes into chapters option).

I must be doing something wrong, because when I break the video into chapters and then click Next into the menu screen, I pick the template I created, make sure that it's the same template for Main Menu and my video (option on top of window on menu screen) and then preview the menu which previews fine, except it won't preview the chapter menu.

I'm totally confused. It will only show in the finished DVD if I don't have chapters in my video.
