Dear All,
I have downloaded and installed the ulead DVD Moviefactory 5.0 trial and am having trouble capturing video from my digital camcorder. When I go to the 'capture video' interface I receive the following error:
Failed to connect to driver : Microsoft DV Camera and VCR [13011:3:3]
I am able to capture video from this camera (Canon ZR 200, firewire interconnect) to other software packages including Adobe Premiere. I was previously able to capture to the trial version 4.0 of Moviefactory, however that trial recently expired so I do not know if that would still work.
Please advise,
Joe

Have you uninstalled DVDMF4 trial completely before you install DVDMF5 trial? Check http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=11923 for more information about removing Ulead products from your system then try it again.

Thanks for the pointer - unfortunately I followed these directions and still receive the same error. Any other recommendations?

What's your windows version? Maybe the IEEE1394 driver in your system needs to be updated.
