Help! I am filling in at a local high school technology class due to a teacher passing away and they are using Ulead Media Pro 8. I am familair with a different non-linear system that I won't mention out of respect for this forum but I need to learn some things quick.
I have searched the manual and the help menu but can not find a way to pan on images, or videos, for that matter. What I am trying to do is insert several still images apply some music and then allow the students to Pan and zoom in on the images as they transition from one to another. A montage. If any one can help me or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreaciated.
Also if anyone has any good ideas for some basic projcets I'm game.
Thanks in adavce for your help!!

Hi Rkeown,
To do pan and zooms in MSP8, you use the Pan and Zoom Video filter, or moving paths. Place your image or video on a video track, then open the Video Filter Library. Locate the Pan and Zoom filter, drag it to your image or video clip. Now unless you want the same effect on all your clips, then you will have to customize it using key frames. You can also use moving paths to acomplish the same effect.
For projects check out our tutorial sections, that sjj (Steve the moderator) has spent a lot of time putting together. There should be some things in there , that could be projects and also may spark some ideas of your own..
