Hi everyone,
Befoe I purchase the update to MF5, I have a question I couldn't find an answer for. I have a new Microsoft Media Center pc which records TV shows to DVR_MS file (leave to MS). I need a progran that will open and edit or convert and edit these files. Does anyone know if MF5 has this capabillity.
Thanks
Pre Update Question
Most audio & video programs can use the various codecs installed on your machine. So, there is a good chance that it will work on your machine which has a codec for that particular file-type.

All I know is this: there seem to be an awful lot of folk out there with Media Center OS, having all sorts of problems due to the OS. MS has put a lot of effort into ensuring that no copy righted material can be copied, causing all sorts of grief. I wouldn't touch MediaCenter with a 10 foot pole.
Having said all that, I would most definitely get the trial version first and try. Just because someone here might say "Yes, it works!" or "No, it doesn't!" doesn't mean it will be the same on yours. Heck, there are a great many users of any of the ULEAD programs out there, happily working away with their programs, totally oblivious to the fact that there are people on this forum, unable to get theirs to work.
Good luck.
