Upgrade from MF3 Disc Creator to MF4 Disc Creator fails

I have the boxed version of MF3 Disc Creator.

I bought and downloaded the upgrade to MF4 Disc Creator. When I open the file, I initially get the install screen quickly followed by the message that it cannot find the current installation of MF4.

I have MF3 installed in an 'F' partition, not the 'C' drive.

Can anyone help?

Since you have the boxed version of MF3 and therefore have an installation disk, I would completely uninstall MF3 prior to the installation of MF4.

The installer is going to ask you for a qualifying product for the upgrade. Just pop your MF3 installation disk into your CD drive and point MF4 installer to this drive. That should do.
