Rode Videomic Microphone anybody got one?

Post by Bomoh »

I bought a videomic and although the instruction manual says there is a zip pouch included there was not one in the box. After they got my money they never return any phone call, email etc etc.

Should this videomic come with a zip pouch for carrying it??

Anyone know?

I am wondering why you are posting this in the Ulead forum? What is the connection between the mic you purchased and Ulead?

Because it was on this forum that I first heard of Rode microphones on a posting about wind noise.............. that's why.

I am quite capable of reading and understanding the forum rules.

Thanks for your help................. none at all.

Bomoh,
I wasn't meaning to be rude. I was just trying to find out what the connection was between any Ulead products and the Rode mic to see if there was any help I could give you.
Seems not, so I shall bow out gracefully.

OK we all learn from the medium of email and web posting that it is easy to misjudge the intention.

Any help gratefully received.

i had a rode videomic but because the audio on my camera (JVC GRDV500) is so crap the results were tinny and hissy.

and whats all this bollocks about this being for Ulead products only, surely if you are filming and using video editing software that encompasses everything thats involved from start to finish.

a few people seem to be getting ever so precious about these forums.

Lance,

While it does state that at the top, in the Rules it states this:
ArcAngel wrote:This forum was built for Ulead customers and guests who want to share their knowledge and ideas in this community. All discussion in this forum should be related to Ulead products only (except for General Discussion section). So I believe that Bomoh's posting is allowed, and such posts should be incouraged. I know that there should not be blantant advertising of products for ones own gain, but to discuss other video aspects, items used in recording, experiences certainly falls within this catagory of General Video Discussions..
