transitions between video tracks

I have stills on videotrack 2 and I would like to dissolve back to the main video track 1....How does one achieve this task? I am not able to use video transitions, going back and forth between video one and two

Is there any particular reason why you have video in one track and stills in another - why not just put them all in the top track and apply transitions at will.

I had assumed VideoStudio - this 'Video' forum seems to confuse a lot of people - it needs better labelling on the index page

The problem may be that the General Section appears before the Sections for the individual products and so a new user will see that first and post accordingly. I'll ask Admin to take a look at the problem.

Yes I am using media studio 8. I have an interview on video one and stills on video 2 and I am crossfading back and forth. I found Terry Stetlers post on a tga with transparancy and have saved his creation to my computer....what a life saver it is Thank You Terry for not only having a solution but enabling folks to download it to their computers..
