Videostudio 8: can't set to MPEG only DV for capture option

hi. i have VS8 and i just noticed that i can't change the setting to mpeg for my capture mode. it stays at DV even after clicking mpeg or the other options like, wvm, vcd etc. i used to capture my movie from my dvcamcorder to mpeg format. what do i need to do to set this back? thanks.

From the "Menu" located at the top right hand of VS screen.
Try going to "Tools" -> "Change Capture Plugin".
Select the Mpeg capture plug-in.
