Maybe there is a connection, maybe not. Since I've installed VS9 on my PC it is no longer able to read DVD-VR discs (let alone import them). The DVD two drives had no problems reading the DVDs created on my Liteon DVD TV recorder before this. These DVD's are still readable in other PC's. Is there some tweak available to remedy this as I would like to be able to import DVD-VR video to Video Studio.
Any suggestions most welcome. Thanks!
DVD-VR no longer readable in PC since VS9 installation

Hi,
Do you mean you cannot Import them?
Can you play them under Windows using a software dvd player?
I thought the "Lite-On" units record to DVD+RW.
What type DVD are you using? A DVD-RW or DVD+RW.
If DVD+RW that would be the +VR mode. DVD-RW would be the -VR mode IF
the dvd-rw is formatted for the -VR mode. You can also use a Dvd-rw
as video mode.
You can have ulead tech support send you a file to replace to
fix the import error. The latest release has a problem with +VR disks.
Hope this helps,
MD
