Just checked the Ulead site and there is a new update for VS9 to handle bugs caused by recent Flash 8 updates.

Thanks

Hi Ron, actually it's the same for me too but there have been quite a few posts on this over thge past few months so I figured it may have been of interest.

Oh, thank God I read this thread and came here instead of going thru the darned grinder again.

From this thread a while back http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... highlight=

I had to download that Ulead file again, like 680MB over the i/net in Australia took like 10 hours ... that's after digging up receipts and crud on the purchase.

I then totally wiped out the old version, unzipped and in stalled the new version and all worked fine till yesterday. The the flash wouldn't work AGAIN!!!!

Like, I unistalled again but this time had a back up file, loaded it new and no BS the flash still wouldn't work. I have been at this for 8 hours now, cleaned, defragged and gutted my system, tried again and still wouldn't work.

I decided to read the forums first in date order to try and find my old post about the problem and discovered this patch! Funny how the stupid auto update thing didn't find it, anyway loaded the patch and it's working again!!!!! :D

I'm starting to hate PC's.

And what did I do that wrecked all this ... they gave me a copy of that Cool 3D thing so yesterday I installed it and that's what stuffed it up ... their own product! So I got rid of that but couldn't get this flash thing working again.

Anyway, all fixed now but Geez ... I hope they test the new VS10 for all these bugs first.

And get the patch regardless coz you'll forget when it happens to you ... or go thru what I did if you dont know.
