Cannot Initialize application unable to load library VS9

Post by iammiamiman »

I have VS9 (upgraded from VS5 via download). I started having problems with VS9 so I uninstalled it (using add or remove programs)and then reinstalled it.
Now the program will NOT open. I get the following fault:

Cannot Initialize Application

Unable To Load Library

[15122:0:0]
[15034:1:13]

Thanks in advance for any help. :D

still no luck

Post by iammiamiman »

I did follow the instructions as was posted in the second post in this thread , but several of the files it was telling me to delete were not there as in

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SmartSound

AND

{88F92798-59AB-474F-B40D-1EC5F782F7EE} Located in
C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information
(Please set "Show hidden files and folders." in folder option in OS) HOW DO I DO THIS ("Show hidden files and folders." )? WHAT IS OS?

So, I just continued on and when I reinstalled the program, I still had the same problem.

Thanks for any help...

Go to Windows Explorer | Tools | Folder Options | View
Show Hidden files and folders
Make sure you uncheck Hide protected Operating system files.

Now try the removal procedure again.
