PhotoImpact 11 RAW without EXIF-Support :-(

I'm installed the testversion of PhotoImpact 11 to look the support of RAW-Pics (i have a Canon 350D --> CR2-Files). The support is good, but the exif infos get lost.
Is there a way to support full exif-infos in the next update of photo impact 11. PI (i'm using Photo Impact XL) looks good, but this is not good

I have the same camera but never noticed this. How exactly do you import the images?

Menü File/Open, i select the CR2-Image, the RAW-window opened. I press OK and PhotoImpact is loading the RAW. Now i'm looking at the Pictureproperties --> Fileinfo and there is no EXIF information.

When i load another pic in JPG, i can see the exifs.

When i save the the RAW as a jpg and loading new, i see no exifs!

I'm not at my editing machine right now and hence cannot try the same approach to see what happens here. I know that I actually used the "Import" function in PI the few times that I have used this. I have all my images taken by the EOS 350D in both formats, CR2 as well as jpeg. So far, I have not had the time to master the RAW processes and got by with the jpeg ones.
