Hello,
It's me again with some questions:
1) Are shadow an light only global effects ? i have a text wich turns around a sphere and i would like to have the text shadow on the sphere. Is it posible ?
2) Can i apply the light effect on a particular object without affect other objects ?
3) If i change the number of light at precise point in the timeline the new number of light is applied to all the project. Can i prevent this ?
4) how to delete (in one click) all the key frames of an effect in the timeline ?
5) Yesterday i created a project and today this project won't load Cool3D load until 100% (task bar) then crashes. If i click on Windows report message error there is a reference to msvcrt.dll modver 7.0.2600.2180 Offset 000218aa... what is it ?
Many questions as you see.
Thanks for help.

Some questions
Vincent,
You are now running into some of COOL3D PS limitations.
1) Yes. Shadows are applied globally. Other cons is that they take the shape of the facing camera. Cannot be distorted or slanted. Color-oriented and do not allow for transparency. So how do you use it effectively? Sometimes one has to render two versions: one project with shadow and the other without in 32 Bit RGB AVI. This way you can overlay them in video editor with alpha channel intact. Sometimes, even a program like MSP's Video Paint module is needed for post work. Or one can do this labor-intensive task of post in his photo editor frame by frame.
Here's a sample I did that follows the abovementioned advice:

2) Yes. As long as the selected object you want to add lighting, color, spot, direction, etc... is selected you can keyframe without affecting the whole project.
3) Yes and No. With the use of keyframes and desired lighting values, as long as you do not group. Once you group, any lighting changes gets applied to the whole group.
4) If you are applying FX, just click the inset FX button and it will remove the plugin or effect. Or under Edit click Undo to remove all keyframed changes but this would be most likely, more than one click.
5) I don't know. Have not experienced this.
