Converting ambient sound to a WAV file

Post by paul85 »

I filmed some dancers, and would like to use their music as Background Music on the DVD I am preparing. I don't know how to transfer the music from my timeline to the background music location. If I could change the ambient music to a WAV file, I think I would be able to make the transfer. Any suggestions as to what steps I should take? I am using Video Studio 9, Windows XP

If i understand correctly whay tou need to do is, in a new project put the video that you want the sound from into the timeline, goto share, on the left there is an option "create sound file" select that. selelect where the file is to go, the name you want for the file the click save

Hope this helps

Thank you. It worked! I had done it before, but forgot. Your solution is now in my notes.
