Transitions Media Studio Pro8

I have Ulead MSPro8 and dont seem to have any transitions present in the library. I have reinstalled the program, but still nothing.
When i open the program it says amongst others that it loads the transitions, but alas I cant find them.
Any ideas

Which version do you have -- Full Boxed, Download Trial, or somehwere in between

Can you see the PRODUCTION LIBRARY, and the Transition section, but there are none in there, or do you not see the Production library at all

What happens when you overlap two clips on a timeline, does anything get inserted as a transition between the two clips

1 disc, Pro 8.00.0011 not the trial version, though I had that originally.
The production library is there but cannot see transition at all.
Everything else from the library seems to work ok and the overlapping is ok. All I have where the transitions should is the + sign.
I do have Video studio 9m would that cause a problem?

Was the Trial installed at any point? When you installed the current version, did you do a REPAIR, or uninstall the Trial, and then install this new one

Where did you get the 1 disc

Where on earth did you get that version? It is obviously an illegal copy of an early beta version. The first release version was 8.00.0028. Believe me, Beta Release version 11 was experimental and full of bugs and I do not know how it could possibly have "got out". My advice: because it is useless, if you paid for it, return it and get your money back; if you bought it from an enterprise, blow the whistle on them; in all cases, buy the release version.

Thank you GeorgeW and Devil for your advise and information
I originally installed the trial version and if I recall everything looked good, I intended to purchase the program as it seemed to be what I needed, but there you go someone gave me the program.
So on your advise Devil, I have uninstalled completely and will be purchasing the genuine item, asap.
