I want to use a 3D transition, specifically Flying Flip. Can anyone educate me on the procedure I need to use this transition to go from one image to another?
Thanks,
Tony

Hi Tony, welcome to the forums..
To use any transition effect, just drop 2 image clips on the storyboard/timeline. You can adjust the duration of the clips using the Duration Time boxes located on the Edit Tab,(left side). Then go the Effects tab, and drag n' drop the 3D transistion between them. A transition always goes between video or image clips on the main video track.

Thanks for the welcome.
I had to move the image files to the Video track in order to get the transition in there. So, thank you - that worked.
But on the video track line, I have no control on where the image starts, only its duration. On the overlay track, I can place an image file at a specific start point, but can't use effects.
So now, how can I start with an image file on the video track at say the 10 second mark (nothing before it) and then have it transition to the next image file?
I'm new to this program, and have only created one project. This second one is rather different. Thanks for any help.
